We highly recommend Window Seal West, great products, value, installation and customer service.A friend who had a prior great experience with Vlad suggested we call Window Seal West after we met with other window companies who appeared to be more focused on sales then us the customer.We met with Anton who was amazing, extremely client centric, asked questions , made great suggestions based on his knowledge, experience and stayed involved from providing the quote to after installation. Always approachable and responded to all text msgs and/or calls. He exemplifies great customer service. The installers Pavo and Sergei were skilled and efficient, Alex, Andre and the office team inc. On Sept 28th Pavel and Sergey came to our house to install 2 windows and 2 doors. They arrived within the time frame that was given and were ready to work as soon as they showed up. They placed floor and furniture coverings through out the house and kept their work area neat and tidy throughout the day. They worked fast and efficiently and through observation it’s easy to tell they are professionals and experts in their field. They answered every question we had and were very friendly. We look forward to purchasing future windows through Window Seal West and hope to have Pavel and Sergey return for installation again.

The entire crew was so professional, started with Max (project manager) coming over to give us a quote. Then the crew coming over and installed all our windows in one day, with cleanliness always a concern. Then the follow up phone call from Max, to see if everything was ok, including a repair for a basement window that another company installed incorrectly, Max and his crew came over and reinstalled that window and no more leaks in the basement!! I highly recommend Window Seal West. We installed our windows last year. Thank you Adam introduced us tinted glass for our west facing windows which we feel more comfortable than before. Their price is reasonable and the quality is good. Their repair service is good as well. We have been well taken care. Once I found our basement ceiling with water stain which may be caused by our new window installation. I have their repair team to come and check. Finally it is not caused by the window. Windows Seal West (Calgary) did a complete main floor replacement of our windows. They installed Triple Glazed windows of excellent quality manufactured right here in Calgary. The sales staff (Max) was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. His recommendations were pertinent and helped us easily choose the right product. The cost was more than competitive as he saved us funds where he could. The installers where awesome(Pavel and Sergei). Not only did they complete the task in 4 1/2 hours, they did so with great care to our furnishings. They completely cleaned up afterwards and left no mess, a very professional install team. The extra insulation from these windows was noticeable the next morning when the house was 3 Deg C warmer. My wife and I are totally pleased with these new windows and Windows Seal West (Calgary).

I had four windows replaced in a 50 year old condo as well as a piece of glass beside the front door. They were very professional each step. The measurement person Anthony instilled confidence with his knowledge and explained the entire process. Vadim and Yiruy did a great job and was able to explain and fix some glitches that come with an older home. The date was a little later than expected ( one month) but completely fair because of covid delivery issues. And the price was very good. I would use again and would recommend.

It took 3 months for my windows to show up, which is the only downside. Two tradesmen showed up at 11:30 AM with my new windows. They installed 3 new windows and were gone at 13:45. All new trim and mouldings, nicely caulked and sealed on the outside. Not a speck of dirt was left behind. Took all the old windows with them, vacuumed indoors and out with the shop vac. Highly recommended, I am going to order 3 more.

We had a great experience with Window Seal West.Sergey, their salesperson, was great from the very start of our project: down to earth, very knowledgeable, polite and never pushy. He was very patient, as my wife and I were trying to figure out the type of windows we preferred for our house on Shawnessy to replace the old ones. WSW replaced our old windows with high quality windows with a reasonable price. After a year, the seal on one of the windows was broken and it started to fog. We had been looking to replace our windows for 5 years, but it was extremely difficult to find a good contractor in Golden because it's a small town in BC. We got a flyer for Window Seal West and they had people come out from Calgary within days of calling them. They brought an example of their windows, did a quote right away and by the end of the visit it was clear no one in town or any place in Calgary we talked to could match their price, and the quality was also better than anything we had seen. Once the windows were made they had them installed in two days and they look amazing! We are very satisfied and would recommend these guys to anyone looking for windows!

First off we had Max come by and do a estimate for our three front windows. What a fantastic guy he was. Not only was the estimate reasonable and fair, Max was so personable and friendly. He was prepared with showing us the quality we would be getting. He brought with him a sample of the window itself and colour samples as well. He explained everything about the windows from where their made to how they are made. He also kept in touch with us during the time that the windows were being made and to the date they would be ready for installation.The window installers were super friendly and efficient. These two gentlemen were from Moldova (unfortunately I don’t the the correct spelling of their names) and explained what all they were going to get done for us. They took time to fix up three of our other windows as well, which was amazing! They both took time out of their day to chat with our family about who they were, I loved that. Very friendly gentleman. The workmanship was great.I would absolutely recommend and have this company do windows for us again. All these gentlemen made our process super easy and comfortable. Great windows too!!!

Had a great experience with Window Seal West. Vlad came to our home, took measurements and gave us a very competitive quote. We were very fussy about details such as paint colour, custom wood jamb extensions, etc., but Vlad assured us that this would be no problem.On installation day, we were pleased to find that all of the windows arrived exactly as we had ordered. The installers, Vadim and Yuruly, were fast, professional and friendly. From the time they arrived until the time they drove away was less than 6 hours. In that time they installed 11 windows on 2 floors, completely cleaned up afterwards and even hauled away the old windows. Amazing!I would definitely recommend these guys for any of your window needs.

I dealt with Vlad Nemchuk as my sales rep. I was a little overwhelmed by the vast selection of windows and doors but he explained everything and walked me through my selections. I had three other estimates to replace both my front & back doors. After a Google search I reached out to Window Seal West as a forth estimate. I met Sergey who came out to my house to review the job and talked about their door construction. Then the next day Sergey sent me the estimate which I found to be a fair price for the job. I signed the contract for the install and never looked back. This is a very professional business with qualified people right from the start to job completion. Sergey came out to my house shortly after the installers left to review the job with me to make sure all was well and I was happy. What else can I say other then top notch and customer comes first. The installers were very clean and professional. They were in and out in one day. Cleaned up as they installed each window. They made sure that we were happy with everything before leaving. Their boss came by afterwards to make sure we were satisfied with everything. I highly recommend this company.

A replacement made a big change in my home. After the replacement, I clearly can feel a temperature change. I observed closely during cold days and recognized that the window and the door worked great. I expected the replacement would be done in 8 weeks but eventually finished in 9 weeks and 3 days after contract. The team of Orest and Igor was great. They were excellent, detailed and skillful technicians. Mostly talked with Orest and I realized he was a meticulous and precise guy to finish his job correctly. They did great job to minimize any dust and scratches on the floor inside and cleaning up garbage at the end. I definitely recommend products and technicians from Window Seal West.

Had our basement windows done almost two and a half years ago. Was pretty happy with the quality and the staff that helped us was pretty good, Michael Tonia arrived on time for estimate and even though the project took a day or two longer than expected, we were pretty happy. It was a pretty big job digging and making our basement windows wall so we totally understand. Overall we’re pretty happy how it turned out.

There were several issues with the windows we had installed, that were probably due to an inexperienced install team. However Window Seal West really stands by their warranty and did everything they could to resolve the issues, including replacing one of the windows. It's clear that they value the opinions of their customers and they were responsive with dealing with the problems.

Firstly let me say that the installers are great, fast, nice, tried to stay out of the way while there were working. To be fair I am editing this review, The installers again went above and beyond. The other situations have been fixed as well with the pandemic I feel that it was way to critical. All and all good work all around

I made a complaint about the delay of the installation of my window and they were quick to resolve the issue. Installation was quick, he was very professional. He cleaned the install window for me, tidied very well, and even glued the seal that had torn off on an additional window. He showed me the issues of this additional window and gave me tips on how to get it closed properly. I've upgraded my 1 star to 4 stars because of his helpfulness and professionalism. While I wish i didnt have to go through those channels to get it done, I applaud their response.

after a couple of installation cancellation dates due to snow, 2 guys came to install our new front door & master bedroom window. Within about 3 hours, all was done & completely cleaned up. Instructions were walked through for opening & closing the window. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism & expertise.

We called in for a quote for two doors. A representative came to our house. He promised a quote by e-mail We did not receive one. 10 days later my husband called back and he said the system was down and he would send a quote immediately. A week later still no quote, My husband called and asked to speak to manager. We were told he’d call us back. As of yet, no response. This is highly unprofessional. I am disappointed in the service and managers inability to phone and talk with us.

Had one window installed in our kitchen. Had to wait 7 weeks to have the window made which I am told is standard.Installation day came but with a window that was made to small by about 4". Not happy at all. The installer secured the opening by putting in wrong size window and 2x4's in the mean time. Installer said he would have manager get in touch with us, to date have not heard from him.We waited another 3 weeks this time to have it installed with the right sized window.Product is nice, the installer did a good job in securing our window the first time and second time. Kudos goes to him. BUT no one from the company called to apologize that they messed up. Twice I had to call them to see if the window was ready for install. They had no problem taking the money once job was finished. Not impressed at all with their customer service.Update...one of the managers called to apologize so am changing from a 2 star to a 3 star. I still feel customer service is lacking.

Please note that is for the Calgary location. I gave two stars because the window was installed roughly around the time they originally predicted and I'm happy with the finished product. However, I found them difficult to deal with and was frustrated with the lack of communication.My sales contact Michael told me it would be a couple of months before installation was complete which was actually a little quicker than a couple of other companies I phoned. Once I agreed to go with them and paid the deposit it seemed I had to email Michael a few times to ensure we weren't forgotten about. We were finally provided a date for the work to begin but when the day came nobody showed up. When I called in the lady answering the phone said that it was "strange" that no one had started, but didn't offer any apology. That was disappointing as I had spent the previous days clearing out the room to prepare for the work to be started. I was given a new date for the work to start; one week later. That day arrived and work started. When the window was installed they told me they had forgotten the screen and would be by the next day with it. They didn't arrive the next day so I had to call in again and leave a message. A day later I was called and told that someone would be by at around 6:00 pm to install the screen. Six o'clock came and went and no screen and no call. Someone finally came by the house at 9:15 pm and put the screen in place.This company got a lot of good reviews which is one reason I picked them, but I got the feeling from them that our work wasn't really high on their priority list.

My sister had her house done by Window Seal West and she was very happy with the product and service which is why I chose to use them on one of my properties.My experience so far is not as great as hers sadly. The quoting process was quick and efficient, prices were reasonable and I decided to go forward with the work. I was told that my windows and doors would be in 5-6 weeks after I put down the deposit which I did on June 11th. Tomorrow will be 8 weeks and I still have no windows or doors, nor an estimate of when I will.I have contacted my sales person several times, whom throughout the quoting process was very responsive but now, ghostly quiet. I called into the office 3 times over the last two weeks and was told that they will check with production and call me back - I was told this 3 times and each time I received no call back. The last time I called I even mentioned that the previous person said they would call me back the next day and they never did - well, she didn't call me back the next day either.I can't comment first hand on their product yet but I can say that their service after they have your deposit is seriously lacking.Delays in production happen, it's the real world, issues come up... It's how you communicate and handle the issues that determine who you are, your integrity and reputation.Frustrated

The windows installed are great. We can already feel the difference in the amount of cold air drafting we don't get from these and we like how they look. The neighbours keep coming over to look at them. The office was good to work with and the installers worked efficiently. The sales person did an OK job to come down on price to be competitive with other suppliers.My complaint is that I asked for the windows to be designed so that the existing blinds would be able to fit. Originally I was told by the sales person that would require metal cladding to be used on the outside of the house to adjust for the variations in frame size, which I agreed to. When they came to measure the windows more accurately, I was told that they could fit the windows to the outside so the metal cladding would not be required and still make them so that the existing blinds could be reinstalled without alterations. Well, we have lovely new windows and now I have to spend thousands of dollars more to replace the blinds because only 2 of 12 blinds actually still fit. They can not simply be cut down because of the mechanisms for the blinds, which is why I wanted the windows to fit the blinds, and so we need to replace them.So, the warning is to not expect your old blinds to fit, no matter what they tell you. Be prepared to replace or refit your window coverings.

A failure from the first step. I had booked my first appointment for a window quote which got changed at the last minute the day before. The second appointment had me rushing home to make it on time having to deal with no one showing up! I get a call 2 hours past the appointment time from some guy saying they were running late. TOO LATE, if you can't make a simple appointment time especially the second time around something is wrong big time. I think this company spends more on advertising for windows than on actually doing a good job. If they can't get the window quote process right I can't imagine how poor the actualy quality of the service must be during the install. I will not be dealing with them ever again. My advice to anyone reading this is support businesses that value their potential clients time from the start. Disgusted by this experience.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! It's a long story but it had to be said so people know what I am dealing with them.I originally gave them 5 stars. I still stand by my comments about Ivan who is a nice guy and will not try to oversell what you need.That being said...from when the first installation crew came and butchered the whole installation. They did not use any shims to support or center the windows. They filled all the gaps with clear silicone up to 3/4". I had the installation manager come and look at the HORRIBLE installation.He agreed they need to be Fixed. The original installers said it would take a couple hours to install 4 windows and a patio door. I knew that was not going to be accurate. It ended up taking them 11hrs into the next day. I have lots of pictures of their shoddy workmanship but am posting pictures of the 'repairs' after they came back to fix the job.To their credit the repairs were much better when they were finished. The following week the COLD came. The patio door had at least 1 inch of ice all the way up the middle between the sliding panels and along the bottom and the right and left sides. The master and spare bedroom windows also had ice. The installation manager Anthony came back to see the ice. He said it was because of the room not having enough insulation. This may be somewhat true but the seals between the sliding panels were not sealing at all. He agreed that they will replace the patio door and master bedroom window with brand new ones. I wanted the spare bedroom replaced as well but he did not commit to it. He said it would be about a week to get the now patio door and window.That was February 10th. It is now March 25th and no work has been done. I messaged Anthony a couple times in the 5 weeks when he said they would be fixed. He said I will be contacted when they are ready. I finally called the office and they only have the master bedroom window there and nothing was ever processed for the patio door. They wanted to come install the one window this weekend but I declined as I didn't want numerous trips to repair AGAIN.I used SNAP financial for the financing of our repairs. Window Seal West received their money before they even started the work here. I paid $6000 for this work and am EXTREMELY disappointed with this experience woth WSW.The original installers damaged my newly painted cabinets and wore their boots in my house.None of the installers at any time ever wore masks or asked if I wanted them to.Here are some pics of the thick ice on my 1 week old brand new windows.VERY SAD WITH THIS EXPERIENCE.

If I could give a -5 star rating that's what this company would get. This is the WORST COMPANY I have EVER dealt with. The customer service is NON EXISTENT. Had windows installed in mid July after being told would be early July, which is no big deal only they said they were going to be here a certain day to install, so took day off work and NO SHOW didn't call or anything. I then called to find out what had happened and said it was rescheduled for 10 days from then. Finally got windows installed and couple wks later had a concern on the locking mech of the living rm window EXTREMELY hard to latch to the point they WILL BREAK if left like that and also top of windows do not crank in all the way can see light out through them. Long story short in the last 2 1/2 mths have called 5-6 times and still nothing. They can't seem to find out if it's Calgary or Edmonton's service area and it's always some one will call with a date and time in a couple of days which NO ONE EVER CALLS. I have even talked with there service guy "Serge" directly with the same results. I need to replace a patio door and a few other windows but this company will NOT BE GETTING MY BUSINESS OR ANYONE I CAN TELL MY STORY TO. IF you value customer service DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY, you will just get the run around. Windows are to much of a investment to not have a company with quality customer service.

I got one of their flyers in the mail, 25% off windows for the summer. I decided to call, as I was planning on cutting two new egress windows into my basement. After several minutes on the phone with an unprofessional sales person, who was in the background trying to contact a "project manager", I was told that they were not interesting in selling just two windows. They said if I could give them dimensions of more windows then they could get me something. Business must be good if they can turn away customers. So... I guess my money is better spent elsewhere. Thanks anyway.

Call me to say that he had called me the week prior and tried to book an appointment for 8pm but I said it was to late. Which he never really did and I'm not sure what he was on aboutThen went on a long rant saying that the people who make the appointments booked far too many appointments in lethbridge and didnt have time to drive the hour to my house to make the appointment in time. Which would be fine had he or someone else called before hand to say something instead of me having to wait around for an hour thinking he was just late.Then asked me to take down my review. No thank you.
